About Us

The Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (KYACC) is dedicated to contributing to the prevention of cardiovascular disease and ensuring optimal quality of care for individuals with such diseases. The KY-ACC works with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and serves as a source of advice to local and state government and prossional organizations concerning issues related to cardiovascular disease


ACC Mission

The mission of the American College of Cardiology is to advocate for quality cardiovascular care—through education, research promotion, development and application of standards and guidelines—and to influence health care policy.

Honorable Maestro Award

The Honorable Maestro Award is the Kentucky Chapter - American College of Cardiology's highest honor. The award recognizes achievements in the field of cardiology and medicine,  leadership in the regional and national cardiology community, charity work, mentorship as well as vigilant care of the sick. The recipient is recognized on-stage at the Annual Meeting.  Additionally, one of the national talks the following year will be named in their honor.
